short story & genevieve's very fine morning


'short story' ~ acrylic paint, neocolor II crayons and soft pastels on canvas panel, 4" x 6"

i may end up naming all of my paintings that aren't faces (if there are more ; ) 'short story'.  somehow it seems perfect;  a short, sweet story in paint.  and i do love this story...

everything on this painting has been carefully sealed so it's permanent.

genevieve (in the midst of her very fine morning) was hard to photograph.  somehow the camera was confounded by her...   this is pretty close to her true look - as close as i could get.  because i think she really is nicer than this pic,  i've lowered her price to tempt you.   i think you won't be disappointed...

as with 'short story', everything on this painting has been carefully sealed so it's permanent.
