the acrobat's daughter

'the acrobat's daughter' ~ oil paint on collaged canvas board, 4" x 6"

'the acrobat's daughter' was inspired by picasso's 'saltimbanque' (circus performer) drawings and paintings.  their figures are both strong and fragile at the same time; they somehow capture *everything* to me.

so you can see the edges of the piece... i haven't varnished her because i like her the way she is, with some matte and some shiny areas. but if you'd like i will varnish her with gloss varnish before i send her off.  just let me know...

$25 + $3 postage to anywhere in the world

SOLD

thank you!

  1. Your faces are wonderful! I like the way you mix it up with collage, paint, words, and your use of color is particularly appealing to me.
Hope your new year will be full of creative pleasure.
